Another walk of the participants of the First International Medical Forum held in Nakhchivan was organized. According to the Nakhchivan Bureau of AZERTAC, first the forum participants visited the Duzdag Physiotherapy Center. They were informed that in 2003, reconstruction work was carried out in the underground department of the hospital in accordance with the most modern requirements, the department was expanded and provided with modern equipment. It was noted that the results of the research and study of the composition of salt led to the need to bring the activities of the Nakhchivan Physiotherapy Hospital in line with modern requirements. In 2008, on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, this medical institution was transformed into the Duzdag Physiotherapy Center, in the underground and aboveground parts of the center for 474 beds, all conditions were created for the treatment of patients suffering from bronchial asthma and lung diseases. The opening of the Duzdag Center was attended by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the then Prime Minister of Turkey, and now the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.Also, as part of the walk, the guests got acquainted with the Mausoleum of Momine Khatun, the Palace of Nakhchivan Khans and the Open Air Museum Complex. During acquaintance with the mausoleum of Momine Khatun, it was noted that this is the highest mausoleum in Islamic architecture, it was built in 1186.Then the guests visited the Batabat Eilag, where 2,899 plant species grow, and the lake of the same name.The last stop during the walk was the complex of cultural and religious monuments “Ashabi-Kahf”. The guests were told the legends associated with this place, which is mentioned in the Holy Quran.
